My Story

At the Hope Centre we're all just very ordinary people. People who have been through the normal ups and downs in life just like you have. Here are some personal stories from some of us.

 God carried me through the worst times in my life

                         I went through times of asking the Lord 'Why?'

                Paul, Married with 3 children My husband has died unexpectedly at 39.

                             I had 2 nervous breakdowns

I was suicidal

                                       I realised I'm precious to God,

When I fall he picks me up again

We had everything, but there was something missing

Jeanette, a Grandmother with 4 grandchildrenWe lost our business, our house, I became ill

 

I realised what was missing

My life changed

I've never known such peace and joy

Lynne, A Full time Wife and Mum     I was really struggling.

I used to crash from crisis to crisis.
I felt like the minister was talking about my life.

Jesus helped me to start again.

Finding out that God loves me and will always be there has changed my life
.
I'm now much more relaxed and know that I don’t have to go through anything alone.
