Photos from HOPE 2010 - a week of events in and for the Community
17th - 23rd May - Hope 2010 (a week of events in the community) A week of fun and challenge including free daily BBQ's, street work, evenings of celebration, youth and children's events, prayer tent/healing clinic for those wanting someone to pray with them and times to chat. We heard amazing stories from ex-addicts whose lives have been radically changed by Jesus and we saw healings and people deciding to follow Jesus for themselves.

Every day our BBQ's were well attended, it was a great time to meet together and talk, then go to the Healing Clinic for prayer

Hayley and Faye sang to us about holding on to Jesus and told us about the difference Jesus has made to their lives after years of addiction and the lifestyle that goes with it.
They are both ex-heroin addicts who were accepted by a Christian organisation called Teen Challenge in South Wales to help them off drugs. Since giving their lives to Jesus they have been totally transformed. Their stories are amazing!

Norman & Marilyn - Norman suffers with Macula Degeneration and has just been registered as blind. He is sharing here the fact that he has received the beginning of healing for his eyesite and can now see more clearly and further. He also gave his life to Jesus.

Ray's story in pictures
Peter, Barry & Ray - Ray has been in his wheelchair for 18 months after struggling on sticks for years. After prayer he was able to walk round the hall (with help) moving faster than even before he had the wheelchair. It was amazing.

Dot & Marilyn - Dot had a bad knee for weeks but after prayer she could walk without pain or difficulty - she had the biggest grin and was so pleased and grateful for what God has done.
Every day we had something for the kids to do.
