19th March - Murder Mystery Night Aintree Conservative Club.
2nd April (Saturday) - 'Other Roads'. This group of musicians will be performing at The Hope Centre for the first time. A well travelled, very talented group with ballads/folk songs accompanied by fiddle and other stringed instruments. Lead singer is very easy to listen to and has a lovely voice. Excellent entertainment and a chance to have a good night out. 'Other Roads'  (highly recommended by those who saw them performing earlier in the year,  John Kearns being one of them)

Saturday 4th September- Pastor William Kumuyi from Nigeria (who has 1 million people in his church) came to speak at the Hope Centre along with Nic Harding, the leader of Frontline and Dave Elms, the leader of Kingsway. Nic spoke on “Evangelism in our city”, Dave spoke on “Holiness”. The Hope Centre was full and it was good to hear these three men share what was on their heart.

17th - 23rd May - Hope 2010 (a week of events in the community) A week of fun and challenge including free daily BBQ's, street work, evenings of celebration, youth and children's events, prayer tent for those wanting someone to pray with them and lunch time burgers and chat. This was a fantastic week long event. Click here for photos and information on what was happening.

27th May - New Life Course - 9 week course on What Christians Believe.

9th June (Wed) at 7.30pm - Kampala Children's Choir..
The Destiny African Children's Choir were amazing! They sang and danced their heart out and their playing of the drums was excellent. There were tears too with personal stories of the terrible time some of those orphans had before they were taken in by the Kampala Children's Centre. An amazing evening. ..... if you missed it, we're having them back next year. :-) Click here for some photos.

19th June - Men's Event --  'Get in the Game' Men's conference. A day of inspirational worship, teaching and equipping with Andy Drake, National Director of Evangelism for CVM.
This event went down well with some very positive comments from the men who attended.
